Northeast India Grand Tour Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Guwahati

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy an optional Brahmaputra River Cruise (at additional cost) or relax at your leisure before the journey begins.

Day 2 | Guwahati – Dirang

After an early breakfast, seek blessings at the sacred Kamakhya Temple before beginning your scenic drive to Dirang via Shergaon. Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan landscapes throughout the journey before checking in to your hotel.

Day 3 | Dirang – Tawang

After breakfast, drive towards Tawang, crossing the spectacular Sela Pass and visiting Sela Lake, Jung (Nuranang) Waterfall, and Dirang Monastery en route. Arrive in Tawang by evening and check in to your hotel.

Day 4 | Tawang Sightseeing

After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Bumla Pass (at additional cost by local vehicle) and the beautiful Madhuri Lake. Later, visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, Giant Buddha Statue, and the historic Tawang War Memorial before returning to your hotel.

Day 5 | Tawang – Dirang

After breakfast, drive back to Dirang, stopping en route at the historic Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Continue through the scenic Himalayan valleys before checking in to your hotel.

Day 6 | Dirang – Kaziranga

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival, visit the famous Kaziranga Orchid Park, enjoy the local cultural performances, and later check in to your hotel.

Day 7 | Kaziranga – Kohima

Begin the day with an exciting Jeep Safari in the Kohora (Central Range) of Kaziranga National Park. After the safari, drive towards Kohima via the scenic Garampani Hot Springs before checking in to your hotel.

Day 8 | Kohima Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical attractions of Kohima, including the Kohima War Cemetery, Nagaland State Museum, and Kohima Village, one of the largest villages in Asia. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 9 | Kohima – Imphal

After breakfast, drive towards Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, explore the highlights of Imphal, including Loktak Lake, Keibul Lamjao National Park, Indian National Army Museum, Kangla Fort, Govindaji Temple, and the famous Ima Keithel (Women’s Market).

Day 11 | Imphal – Silchar

After breakfast, drive towards Silchar, passing through picturesque hills and lush green valleys. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

After breakfast, proceed towards Aizawl, the beautiful capital of Mizoram. Enjoy scenic mountain views throughout the journey before checking in to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the city at your own pace.

Day 13 | Aizawl Sightseeing

After breakfast, discover the attractions of Aizawl, including the Mizoram State Museum, Aizawl Peak Skywalk, Solomon’s Temple, Durtlang Hills, and the Mini Zoo.

Day 19 | Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit Mawkdok Dympep View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave, and Eco Park before returning to Shillong.

Overnight Stay: Shillong

Day 20 | Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village, the cleanest village in Asia, and explore the famous Living Root Bridge and Sky Walk. Continue to Dawki to witness the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River and the India–Bangladesh Border before returning to Shillong.

Day 21 | Shillong – Guwahati | Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Guwahati. En route, visit Umiam Lake, Elephant Falls, and Shillong Peak. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Northeast India’s breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and timeless heritage.

✗ Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari charges (can be arranged at ₹800 per person for Jeep Safari and ₹1,700 per person for Elephant Safari on a sharing basis; subject to availability and usually closed from May to mid-October).
✗ 5% GST.
✗ Expenses incurred due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances.
✗ Any item or service not specifically mentioned under the Inclusions section.

Starting From: ₹15,500/- Per Person + 5% GST (Minimum 6 Pax)

✔ If cancellations are made anytime between the date of booking and 30 days before the start date of the travel, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

✔ If cancellations are made 15–29 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

✔ If cancellations are made within 0–14 days before the start of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

✔ Tour prices are printed in our brochures. The client must book a tour with 25% of an initial deposit of total tour package cost. This initial deposit amount is not refundable or nontransferable in the event of cancellation.

✔ The client must pay the balance amount of 75% on day 1 of arrival. If the client fails to pay the balance amount within the stipulated time, then the booking shall be deemed to be cancelled and the entire initial deposit will be forfeited and the passenger shall not be entitled to a refund of the same.

✔ Payments can be made online using our secured net Banking/RTGS/NEFT/CHEQUE/Demand Draft to be payable in the name of “TRAVEL SPACE”. On payment of the deposit amount, you will be given an official receipt from Travel Space.

✔ Corfirmation Voucher will be issued within 24 hours of paying initial booking amount.
