DAY 1 GUWAHATI - KAZIRANGA

After Pickup, move towards Kaziranga National Park – a World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for the conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

At morning, visit National park for jeep safari (cost is excluded) and then towards Orchid Park and enjoy evening Cultural Activities. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to Shillong. On the way to Shillong, visit Umiam Lake. Check in at Hotel in Shillong for overnight stay.

After breakfast in the hotel, go for sightseeing in Shillong, visit Elephant falls, Shillong peak, Wards Lake, Catholic Church, Lady Hydari park,Air force museum and then move towards Hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, transfer to Mwsynram, visit Sacred forest grove and David Scott trail. Then transfer to Cherrapunji. Night stay in Cherrapunji.

After early breakfast, enjoy a pleasant drive to Cherrapunji to see waterfalls & gorges. Cherrapunji – The wettest place on Earth offers roaring waterfalls, limestone caves & galore of water & adventure activities. Witness the gorgeous Seven Sisters falls, Nohkalikai Falls, & visit the Arwah Cave , Mawsmai cave, Eco Park. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

In the morning get ready to explore the Mawlynnong Village. Mawlynnong/Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred to as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. Visit the Living Root Bridge in the nearby village. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. From Mawlynnong one can see the Indo- Bangladesh Borde. After some time we travel for Dawki in the West Jaintia Hills, on arrival is the Umngot River where the water is crystal clear and is said to be one of the clearest river in India. The journey from Mawlynnong to Dawki is thrilling and scenic as we pass through lush green valleys and waterfalls peddling down from every corner of the hills. You can take a boat ride to visit Bangadesh border (Tamabil point) which is the most astonishing thing to do in Dawki. Overnight stay in Dawki.

After breakfast, transfer back to Guwahati, via krangsuri and Phe Phe falls. Night stay in Guwahati.

Wake up in the morning, visit Kamakhya temple for puja and darshan , Umananda Temple and Sunset Bhramaputra Cruise (Tickets can be arranged on request at an extra cost), and then in time transfer to Airport/ Railway station.
